Who are we?

We are an umbrella organization of weavers and spinners in the province of Saskatchewan that includes the four regional guilds in the province plus unaffiliated individuals. Our aim is to promote weaving and spinning in Saskatchewan.

What do we do?

  • Every other year we get together at a retreat with special guest speakers, displays, vendors, and learn a lot.

  • Offer bursaries to our members.

  • Provide grants to our regional guilds for workshops.

  • Give a Fibre Arts Award to an artist who has been accepted to be included in the Saskatchewan Craft Council's Dimensions exhibition.

How can you join us?

You do not have to be a member of a regional guild to join our group. Everyone is welcome! We usually have two year memberships. The current term started on Sept 1, 2022 and it ends on Aug 31, 2024. The fee is $TBD. We will announce how to renew memberships or start a new membership here and on the Facebook page when we have more information, sometime after Jan. 14, 2023.
